Symposium and report on "Supervision of PhD students in Groningen"
On 10th January 2007 Grasp organised a symposium on the supervision of PhD students in Groningen. This symposium was presenting the report on two surveys which were done in 2005-2006. The first survey covered the supervision of PhD students as seen by the supervisors in Groningen and the second one covered the situation of PhD students themselves. These surveys resulted into a report which describes the issues regadering PhD's in Groningen. This document lead to interesting discussions during the symposium. The symposium was visited by around 60 persons and was considered very useful. During 2007 Grasp will work on the important issues which should be improved.
